FLOATS WITH OUR

OVER 10 SEASONS OF EXPERIENCE

BOAT TYPE: Raft

BOATING STYLE: R1

My first rafting experience dates back to early in my childhood. In high school, my buddy and I would float the Upper Colorado every chance we got.

We would raft to fish.

That year we got invited on a Westwater trip and went! Ever since that trip I gave up fishing and have been addicted to whitewater.

FAVORITE RIVERS / RAPIDS

Oh Be Joyful Creek
My favorite run of all time 9 class V rapids within 1 mile and with a gradient of 420FPM, OBJ is one of the most World class runs around.

Gauley River
One of the best rivers around you can't go wrong with the big water creeky feel the Gauley has to offer. North Fork South Platte (Bailey)Bailey is a classic class V in Colorado with some of the most technical boating around, this is one of my first V runs and I'll never forget how far I've come since than.

Colorado River (Westwater)
This is where it all started for me, and has amazing whitewater and views

Gore Canyon
The Gorenage, Colorado's most famous whitewater!

MOST EPIC SWIMS

Vallecito was one of the most epic runs i've done, we had no beta and ran most of the river blind. We learned the true difference between class (V) and class (V+)

ACHEIVEMENTS

Along with Kenny Beauchamp we filmed, directed, and produced Just Get a Kayak the movie!

GOALS

  • Black Canyon of the Gunnison
  • Big Timber Creek
  • Cherry Creek
  • Dinky Creek

REVIEWS

The Excalibur has continued to help me elevate my game, Its light nimble design has opened up a new world of was possible in a raft. The Polyurethane makes its slide over rocks more like a kayak rather than a raft making it perfect for steep technical creeks. The diminished tubes and pronounced rocker make it boof like a machine. It has been an absolute weapon for me over the past 3 years, I love this boat!
