OVER 10 SEASONS OF EXPERIENCE

BOAT TYPE: Raft

BOATING STYLE: R1

I ran the New River Gorge when I was 8 years old and immediately wanted to go again.

FAVORITE RIVERS / RAPIDS

I love new getting on new rivers and new rapids, anything I haven’t done yet. I like exploring, especially when there’s limited beta.

MOST EPIC SWIMS

Vallecito Creek… our guide bailed so we showed ourselves down unscoutable class V+

ACHEIVEMENTS

Co-creator of “Just Get a Kayak” the Movie.
First rafting descent of Los Pinos River

2025 USA Men’s raft racing team.

GOALS

Futaleufu and Black Canyon of the Gunnison are the two I’m usually thinking about lately.

REVIEWS

I use a 10’ Excalibur for R1ing, I like how stable it is while still being small enough for narrow creek boating and light enough to carry long distances.

MORE ABOUT Kenny Beauchamp

JUST GET A KAYAK - WATCH ON YOUTUBE

The true story of two friends, Kenny Beauchamp and Ryan Huck, who set out to prove that you don’t need a kayak to run the gnarliest whitewater. After years of being told to “just get a kayak,” the duo doubles down on their love for R1 rafting by taking on Class V rapids and waterfalls. Fueled by friendship, fear, and a relentless sense of fun, this high-adrenaline film documents a summer-long journey of obsession, risk, and redefining what’s possible in a raft.
Check out the special Episode of the River Radius Podcast to hear more about the adventure.

ON THE OFF SEASON

I like to play video games, I used to play competitively but now I just play for fun to relax in the off-season.
