Material Chafe is crafted from our standard 40oz urethane raft material, essentially doubling the thickness of the boat in the locations where this chafing is applied. This rugged, heavy-duty extra layer is both glued and heat-sealed in place, then reinforced with seam tape applied around the edges to ensure a secure, watertight bond.
Designed to withstand frequent abrasion from the frame, frequent loading and unloading of gear, Material Chafe provides an extra layer of defense that helps extend the life of your raft. It's a our strongest and most dependable solution for boaters who demand durability and performance in challenging river conditions.

LIQUID LEX CHAFE
Liquid Lex is a roll-on urethane coating that adds a tough, protective layer to the exterior of your raft. Applied in multiple coats, it creates a rugged, slightly textured surface that enhances durability and grip. The “grippy” finish is especially useful for paddle boaters, offering better traction during active maneuvers and wet conditions.
In addition to improving seating stability for rowers, Liquid Lex is weighs less than our Material Chafing, making your boat much lighter and easier to carry when out of the water.
