BOTTOM CHAFE
A Bottom Chafe is a protective layer in between the boat's tubes and common abrasive objects like your trailer, boat landing, or river bed, that is +/- 12 inches wide.
BOTTOM WRAP
The bottom wrap starts at the grommet strip, on the inside of your raft's tubes, and spans almost to the bottoms of the outer tube's hardware, offering far more protection that the chafe option.
*These options protect the bottom of the tubes; they do not protect the bottom of the floor.

MATERIAL CHAFE / WRAP
A Material Chafe, or Wrap, is crafted from our standard 40oz urethane raft material, essentially doubling the thickness of the boat in the locations where this chafing is applied. This rugged, heavy-duty extra layer is both glued and heat-sealed in place with seam tape applied around the edges to ensure a secure, watertight bond.
Already designed to withstand frequent abrasion rocks and unloading of gear, a Material Chafe, or Wrap, provides an extra layer of defense that helps extend the life of your raft. It's a our strongest and most dependable solution for boaters who demand durability and performance in challenging river conditions.

LIQUID LEX CHAFE / WRAP
Liquid Lex is a roll-on liquid urethane coating that adds a tough, protective layer to the exterior of your raft. Applied in multiple coats, it creates a slightly textured surface that enhances durability and grip. Liquid Lex also weighs less than our Material chafe, making your boat much lighter and easier to carry when out of the water.

A Straight Section Only Bottom Chafe is one of the most common upgrades on the bottom tubes, providing your boat with additional protection where wear and friction most frequently occur on your boat.
SSB BOTTOM CHAFE
Alternatively, Straight Section into the ‘B’ Panels is a great way to protect bottom of your tubes and the beginning of your rocker area. This added reinforcement helps prevent wear in these high-contact zones, extending the life of your raft.
SSC BOTTOM CHAFE
Extending Straight Section Chafe into the ‘C’ Panels is a smart way to protect the bottom of your boat's tubes and midway through the rocker. Extra protection here can help prevent scuffs, abrasions, and long-term damage in these high stressed areas.
SSE BOTTOM CHAFE
Straight Sections into ‘E’ Panels is a great way to protect bottom of your tubes up to the bow and stern panels, providing nearly total protection on the bottom parameter of your boat.
ALL AROUND CHAFE / WRAP
An All-Around Chafe, or Wrap, is an excellent upgrade for providing continuous protection along the entire underside perimeter of your raft. This added reinforcement helps guard against wear jagged rocks and rough gravel. If navigating rugged terrain, an all-around chafe offers durable, full-coverage defense.
