We also added a large external pocket to the front to help carry things like carabiners, tools, and other small items. Highly accessible, stylish, mesh thwart bag. Quick, large volume zip top with #10 YKK zipper allows you to quickly stash straps, hats, cans, sunscreen, etc. Cam straps securely around your thwart with new nylon straps that work flawlessly with the cam buckles. The straps are complete with 2 grab handles and 2 steel D-rings for attaching or clipping on accessories. Once you're on shore, the thwart bag can also function as a backpack for side canyon hikes with its comfortable, padded back and shoulder straps
