The K-40 is a true two-stage pump that has a high-volume stage and high-pressure stage for topping off. It gives you the ability to rapidly and efficiently inflate large inflatables. The K-40 is a shorter version of the K-400 which makes it easy to stow. The K-40 is a favorite from recreational rafters, guides, outfitters, search and rescue units. and even special forces.

K-40 or K400?

The K-40 and K-400 are our largest diameter pumps and identical with the exception the K-40 is 25% shorter. The K-40 is a very popular choice because it is easy to pack, lighter weight, yet still produces over 70% of the volume of the K-400. The K-40, as all K-Pump models, will work on most valves, including the Halkey-Roberts, Leafield, and Boston valves.
