Class V Breakdown  Cataraft Frame

(Pictured Breakdown on a 12'8" Legend Cataraft with 22" Tube Diameter)

Frame weight 38lbs.

The Breakdown cata-raft frame was designed to address the following key factors: portability, rowing efficiency, and structural integrity. The engineering of the North Fork cat-raft frame mimics the design of a house truss. This gives the frame the ability to dissipate energy throughout the frame rather than point loading (energy concentrated at single points). This design helps prevent breakage and increases the frame's longevity.

Each frame has 6” of adjustment in the seat plate and 3” in the oar towers. We understand that every person’s body geometry and rowing style are different.

7" oar towers with a 9" total depth. 68.5" from tower pin to tower pin. 15" under the seat and 24" back bay
