L'HISTOIRE

The Redwood Rafters began as a small, family-driven youth rafting group and quickly grew into a larger Humboldt County team supported by parents, volunteers, local boating organizations, and community sponsors. Over just a few years, the team expanded to include kids from multiple local schools and became known for training year-round on remote North Coast rivers.

In 2025, the Redwood Rafters helped host the United States National Whitewater Rafting Championships on the Trinity River, where 25 teams competed in multiple race formats. The team earned national titles in individual events, including U19 Girls Slalom and U19 Boys Head-to-Head, marking them as one of the rising youth programs in American raft racing.
