My first rafting experience dates back to early in my childhood. In high school, my buddy and I would float the Upper Colorado every chance we got.

We would raft to fish.

That year we got invited on a Westwater trip and went! Ever since that trip I gave up fishing and have been addicted to whitewater.

One of the best rivers around you can't go wrong with the big water creeky feel the Gauley has to offer. North Fork South Platte (Bailey)Bailey is a classic class V in Colorado with some of the most technical boating around, this is one of my first V runs and I'll never forget how far I've come since than.

The Excalibur has continued to help me elevate my game, Its light nimble design has opened up a new world of was possible in a raft. The Polyurethane makes its slide over rocks more like a kayak rather than a raft making it perfect for steep technical creeks. The diminished tubes and pronounced rocker make it boof like a machine. It has been an absolute weapon for me over the past 3 years, I love this boat!
